RPA Developer

Overview:
This position is for a Software Developer within the Robotic Process Automation team. This person will program new automations in Python working with other RPA Developers, Business Analysts, and customers of the Robotic Process Automation (RPA) team. They will help translate business processes into software automations to create greater business efficiency. They will work with other RPA software developers and testers as needed to accomplish their goals. They will work in an Agile environment participating in daily stand-ups, retrospectives, sprint plannings and other Agile ceremonies.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with internal customers, business analysts, and management to identify technical specifications
Design and build software flows building intelligent software robot automations.
Produce clean, documented and highly maintainable software code
Unit test and troubleshoot all written code
Provide quick break-fix robot retrofits as environments change
Perform peer code reviews being willing to both give and receive feedback
Apply best practices to building sustainable automation and maintainable code
Provide estimates and meet agreed upon deadlines
Qualifications:
BS or Master’s in computer science, information systems, business or related fields with 3+ years of proven experience
3+ years in developing software solutions
Strong technical and problem-solving skills
Knowledge in robotic process automation (RPA)
Experience in Python automation development (web crawling, web scraping, API interfacing, data transformations, database interfacing)
Experience building RPA solutions (preferably with Python or UiPath)
Experience with web, database, and api technologies and architecture
Strong communication skills
Expertise in business technology and automation
Understand high level process changes and updates to robots to effectively monitor trends and drive for internal improvements as needed to increase overall success of RPA
Understanding of IT architecture, infrastructure and cloud computing a plus
Experience in implementing technical solutions for customer service a plus
Excellent organizational and time management skills

The starting salary/wage for this opportunity is:
$110,103.00 to $146,804.00
Other rewards may include annual bonus eligibility, which is based on company and individual performance, short and long term incentives, and program-specific awards. Sunrun provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and paid time off (PTO).
