The People Team’s People Experience and Communications Specialist will help shape meaningful experiences for our employees and candidates.  This role will work with the People and Employee Experience teams to deliver programs that reflect our culture and values, boost engagement, and bring Sunrun’s RunX experience and our We Love People, We Love to Create and We Love to Run values to life inside and out.

Create and Improve Experiences:

  • Design and implement strategies to enhance the employee experience.

  • Collaborate with People Team and business leaders to identify ways to improve key moments in the employee and candidate journey from recruitment to onboarding and beyond.

  • Amplify Sunrun’s community engagement efforts and partnerships that align with Sunrun’s mission.

Bring People Programs to Life:

  • Collaborate with the People team to deploy initiatives such as onboarding, recognition programs, wellbeing efforts, community engagement, and fostering belonging and inclusion at Sunrun.

  • Act as the go-to project manager, ensuring programs run smoothly and meet organizational needs.

  • Market people team initiatives and programs in partnership with People Team Leaders which includes: materials (decks, videos, communications such as Board Deck, SheRun, People All Hands etc.

Communicate and Inspire:

  • Work with the Employee Experience team to craft creative, RunX-branded campaigns that seamlessly integrate into People programs, ensuring RunX continues to be at the core of everything we do.

  • Strategize and devise communications for the organization to  share updates and inspire engagement across the company in line with our Sunrun values, to our employees as well as externally via LinkedIn, social media, etc

Collaborate and Advise:

  • Be a trusted advisor to both the EX and People leadership and teams, ensuring employee and candidate experience strategies align with company goals.

  • Continue to enhance collaboration with People, EX, and other Sunrun teams to further integrate employee experience into everything we do.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

  • 5+ years of experience in employee experience, HR strategy, internal communications, or program management.

  • Proven expertise in branding or marketing internal programs, and communications.

  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.

  • Exceptional communication skills with an emphasis on storytelling and engagement.

  • Experience with data analysis and using metrics to drive decisions and improve outcomes.

  • Proficiency in HRIS systems, engagement platforms, and communication tools.

  • In person engagement with teams in our San Francisco or Lehi office will be critical to the success of this role and an ability to travel 25% of the time.

Starting salary/wage for this opportunity:

$95,519.97 to $127,359.96
