Sunrun is committed to supporting our Military Families through our partnership with the Department of Defense Military Spouse (MSEP). Sunrun was the first national solar company to offer career opportunities to transitioning service members and spouses of active-duty military personnel through the Military Spouse Employment Program (MSEP).
Sunrun and MSEP give you the tools you need to discover your perfect match and the freedom and support to take your career to the next level. Job match areas include: Administrative/Clerical, Customer Care, Field/Install, Finance/Accounting, Marketing/Communication, Technology, Sales/Retail and much more.
We proudly collaborate with Airstreams Renewables Inc., providing active-duty military personnel with specialized training in renewable energy through their Accelerated 240-hour Renewable Energy and Communications Tower Technician Program. As a leading force in compliance, education, and industrial training, Airstreams Renewables Inc. stands out as a vital participant dedicated to guiding veterans towards fulfilling careers in renewable energy.
Furthermore, Sunrun partners with the Home Builders Institute (HBI), the nation's premier nonprofit provider of trade skills training for veterans in the building industry. Through this partnership, transitioning military and veterans gain unique opportunities for job readiness and career connections, fostering hope, confidence, and long-term success. Sunrun was the first national solar company to fully achieve gender pay equity. We adhere to the California Equal Pay Pledge and the White House Equal Pay Pledge.
Elevating women in the workplace
In March of 2022, Sunrun initiated a partnership with FairyGodBoss to amplify our efforts of building a diverse workforce and communicate available opportunities to the 17 million women who are members of the FairyGodBoss community.
