Sr. Warehouse Driver

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for delivery of material through restocking trucks, fulfilling Installer orders, and staging project materials in advance of construction start, loading own vehicle for daily deliveries and cleaning vehicle after daily deliveries and pickups are complete
Coordinate with the Branch Leadership Team to develop the material delivery plan based on the project installation schedule and the Service Team to manage all materials, documentation, and RMA processing for service and warranty projects
Conduct “pre/post-trip safety check” inspection of vehicles and insure they meet company quality standards and take appropriate action as needed
Load and unload box trucks and other vehicles
Use forklift to move pallets and large items from warehouse to trucks
Keep accurate records of items shipped and received
Safely drive trucks to delivery locations and unload goods
Drive advancement in standard operating procedures
Operates within and promotes a safety culture in all warehouse functions.
Perform transactions in Oracle ERP for all material movement through the warehouse, including: receiving, stocking, and issuing.
Drive inventory accuracy and integrity through cycle counts and physical inventories.
Maintain auditable records and operate based on defined standards in the shipping and receiving of all warehouse materials.
Perform special projects and tasks as assigned while meeting and exceeding Warehouse Operations Standards.
REQUIREMENTS (EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, CERTIFICATIONS, AND OTHER SKILLS)
A high school diploma or equivalent is required
4+ Years of driving experience cargo vans and box trucks, 1+ years of warehouse experience
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
Experience loading and unloading in a warehouse environment
Must be forklift certified and have experience
Experience with warehouse inventory management
Demonstrated and measurable results in driving efficiency and cost savings in Warehouse Operations and material deliveries.

Safety Orientation: Demonstrates awareness of company safety policies and procedures; includes ability to identify and report safety hazards, and the ability to encourage others to work safely

Problem Solving: Using a systematic and effective approach in analyzing information in order to come up with good business solutions to problems
Knowing the Business: Maintain a high level of knowledge of warehouse & vehicle operations, products, etc.
Foundational Skills: Ability to understand written material and ability to write using correct spelling and punctuation; ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide using fractions or decimals.
Special Requirements: Must have responsible work habits and pass any pre-employment screening and background check.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Requires periods during which continuous physical exertion is required, such as walking, standing, stooping, climbing, and lifting material or equipment, some of which may be heavy or awkward
Ability to sit, drive or stand for long periods of time
Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs without assistance and 50+ lbs with assistance
Ability to work in a non-climatically controlled environment throughout the year
Ability to work safely in a warehouse environment and in public during deliveries
Ability to work alone and self supervise
Ability to operate office equipment including computers and determine accuracy of work
Ability to interact with co-workers and participate in meetings
Ability to transport materials and equipment to complete assigned job tasks (up to 50 lbs frequently unassisted)
Able to hear alarms and commands from a distance
Able to use ladders and step stools to access materials
Able to push and pull hand carts and hand trucks
Able to read labels and identify symbols
Able to use company cell phone in a safe manner to complete daily tasks

Starting salary/wage for this opportunity:
$22.40 to $29.87Other rewards may include annual bonus eligibility, which is based on company and individual performance, short and long term incentives, and program-specific awards. Sunrun provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and paid time off (PTO). A candidate’s salary history will not be used in compensation decisions.
